Dozens of children, mostly younger than 15, were killed in the Saudi-led airstrike, a school bus was aimed in northern Yemen.
The children were on a school trip, planned by the Yemeni school, the bus was struck in a crowded market, more than 50 were killed at the spot and 77 injured.
The experts told CNN, the bomb used in this attack in Yemen was sold by US state Department-sanctioned arms deal to Saudi Arabia.
The bomb used in this attack that killed dozens of children dead on August 9 was a 500-pound laser guided MK82 bomb made by Lockheed Martin, the US defense contractor.
The bomb is similar to that weapon used in an attack on a funeral in Yemen in 2016 in that more than 155 people were killed and hundreds wounded.
The Saudi government took responsibility and claim that this strike was a mistake, cause of that strike was incorrect information.
In March 2016, a strike on market in Yemen, guided MK84 bomb killed 97 people. The former US President Barack Obama banned the sale of this guided missile technology to Saudi Arabia, after the funeral attack, due to the human rights violation. However, this ban was removed by President Trump in March 2017.
Now the question is: Does US support this type of attacks? Why US handover this technology to immature? Is Saudi Arabia is capable to use this technology?
